MEET JEFF KLEMP

Jeff Klemp is a proven political outsider, successful small business owner, and fifth-generation Kansan who has quickly earned a reputation for sponsoring, leading, and supporting meaningful legislation that reflects Kansas values and delivers real results. Jeff continues to demonstrate that meaningful legislation can be bipartisan by building consensus among key stakeholders and advancing solutions that move Kansas forward.

Raised on a small Angus farm in northeast Kansas, Jeff learned the values of hard work, faith, integrity, personal responsibility, and giving back to the community. A proud graduate of Leavenworth High School, Jeff earned his degrees here in Kansas — a degree in Economics from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Baker University.

Jeff and his family have deep Kansas roots spanning five generations. He and his wife have built both a family and businesses here in Kansas while raising their two daughters, creating jobs, and helping strengthen local communities.

For more than 25 years, Jeff has held leadership roles in businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Fifteen years ago, Jeff and his wife revitalized a struggling local business, transforming it into a thriving Midwest company that helps relocate military families around the globe.

Jeff entered public service because he believed Kansas families deserved strong representation and leaders willing to tackle difficult challenges. In just two legislative sessions, he has helped advance meaningful reforms focused on public safety, tax relief, educational improvement, rural and healthcare innovation, support for veterans and law enforcement, and protecting Kansas from foreign adversaries seeking to acquire critical farmland and infrastructure.

Today, Jeff continues to champion meaningful legislation that moves Kansas forward by strengthening communities, supporting small businesses, protecting farmers and rural Kansas, safeguarding taxpayers, and creating opportunities for future generations.

Jeff believes government should be limited, efficient, accountable, and focused on delivering real results for Kansas families.
